Biography
Geraldine Carlin was born and raised here in Sydney, Cape Breton. She began her post-secondary education at CBU (then UCCB) in the fall of 1983. Then continued her studies at St. F.X. as UCCB did not grant BSc. degrees at that time. She graduated with a BSc. in Biology from St. F.X. in 1987 and an M.A. in Applied Social Psychology from the University of Guelph in 1992. Geraldine has been a lecturer here at CBU since 1993. She has taught courses on campus, on-line and in many of the First Nations Communities in Nova Scotia.
